KMTR followed Kevin durning one of his workouts and reported on what it takes to make the London, Olympic games.
EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) - It's known as TrackTown USA, but Eugene, Oregon is producing potential Olympians in other sports as well.Cyclist Kevin Mansker was born in Eugene but now calls Portland his hometown. World Championship recap - Kevin, Michael and Jimmy Secure men's sprint position for USA in the London Olympic Games
Project London p/b Land Rover Select CPO riders, Michael Blatchford, Kevin Mansker and Jimmy Watkins competed at the World Championships for Team USA in Melbourne, Australia. Starting three riders and pulling ahead of Canada and Columbia to secure a place in the London Olympic games, in the men's sprints.

Project London p/b Land Rover Select CPO riders Michael Blatchford, Kevin Mansker and Jimmy Watkins selected for the UCI World Championships.
Fresh off their gold medal ride in Mar Del Plata, Argentina at the Pan American Championships, USA cycling names Blatchford, Mansker and Watkins have been selected to the USA worlds team to compete in Melbourne, Australia, April 4-8th.
